One Bread, One Body

The Bible plays a vital role in the life of the Catholic Church. In fact, we are called to immerse ourselves daily in the Scriptures. But many of us get lost when we actually dive into the Bible, and our time spent can be more frustrating than fruitful. We are reading a collection of writings drafted by an ancient people, in an ancient culture. But Scripture is nothing less than the Living Word of God, and it is meant just as much for us as for those who lived thousands of year ago.
To deal with this challenge we have chosen an exciting Bible Study program provided by Jeff Cavins, an internationally recognized speaker who has a deep love for Jesus Christ and who communicates his zeal with clarity and enthusiasm.
His program is called the "The Great Adventure Bible Study System. We are currently using the following four studies:
1. The Bible Timeline - "The Story of Salvation History"
2. "Matthew - The King and His Kingdom"
3. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom
4. Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come
We will begin classes for Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come on Wednesday Oct. 7. Please call Clifton or Susan Britten to join.
Come and enjoy as we study God's word. Witness the fascinating story of our faith, and see how you, at this moment in your life, fit into God's plan for all humanity.
For further details please contact Jason Eugea (335-6805) or Clifton Britten
